Is GetEmails CAN-SPAM compliant?

Yes, GetEmails is CAN-SPAM compliant. All of our email addresses opted in on partner websites and have consented to receive communications from our partner network.

What email platforms integrate with GetEmails?

We have integrations with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, and Keap with more on the way. Email us to suggest an integration.

How many pages can I track?

You can put the GetEmails script on as many pages/landing pages on your website as you want. The contact will be tracked on the first page they visit that contains the script, and the URL for that landing page will be shown with that contact’s details in GetEmails.

Can I use the technology outside of the U.S.? What about GDPR and CASL?

The entire GetEmails database is U.S.–based and therefore, it will only capture U.S. residents. GDPR and CASL are irrelevant (even if your business is based in Europe or Canada) because there are no European or Canadian emails in our database.

How much does GetEmails cost?

Your first 25 contact records are completely free. After that, we have monthly plans starting at $49/mo, which gets you 200 contact records.

Do I have to pay for emails that are already on my list?

No, you don’t pay for duplicate emails. You can upload your current email database and before we charge you for a contact, we will check your list first to make sure none of those contacts are on your list.

What percentage of my traffic will you be able to identify and how many contacts will I get each day?

The percent of identifiable traffic changes by brand, industry, and by day. We recommend trying it out to get an idea of what your average daily match rate will be.

What contact information do I get?

You get an email address, full name, postal address, opt-in date, and the landing page the recipient was captured on.

What should I send to these new email addresses?

We recommend introducing these recipients to your brand through a welcome series and including your best performing offers to help with conversion.

Is this kind of like web retargeting? Can I use it to replace my web retargeting?

Yes, GetEmails is a more effective form of retargeting. Instead of retargeting with ads like Google and Facebook do (where you pay for every ad click), GetEmails provides you with an email address (which you pay for once) and you can follow up with this contact as much as you want.

Is this like my abandoned cart program?

Your current abandoned cart program only sends emails to recipients who have abandoned their cart, but are already on your email list. Running an abandoned cart program with GetEmails will allow you to identify and retarget the recipients who are abandoning their cart but NOT already on your current list.

Is it difficult to set up?

GetEmails is very straightforward to set up. We provide you with a script to place on your webpage(s). You can take advantage of our WordPress & Shopify integrations to simplify the process or visit our support pages for detailed instructions on how to add the script to your website.

Do I put the script in the header of the page or the body of the page?

We recommend putting the script in the body of the page because not all browsers load the header.

Where does the script go? What page do I put it on?

The script goes in the body of your page. Visit our support pages for detailed instructions on how to add the script to your website.

How do I know if it’s working?

You can confirm that your script is working by using our Script Checker after you have placed the script on your page(s).

Can I put it on more than one website?

Yes, you can place the script on more than one website. A landing page URL is added to every contact, so you can see which website/page the contact came from.

How do I get my emails?

You can find your emails in your GetEmails account. We provide you with a bulk list of your contacts, as well as lists of your contacts by the date they were captured. If you’re using one of our integrations, your contacts will automatically be added to the list you set up in your ESP.

Do you provide a postal address?

Yes, a postal address is included with every contact.

Is your data cleaned? Is it up-to-date?

Yes, our data is up-to-date. It is cleaned every couple of weeks and all bounces are removed.

How do I know what page the contact came from?

We include the landing page the contact came from with every contact we provide. They are tracked on the first page they visit that contains the script. Even if they visit other pages that have the script after that page, we will provide you with the first page the recipient visited that contains the script.

Will I get a lot of spam complaints?

You could, but most of our customers see high engagement and low complaint rates. We recommend putting the script on high intent pages to help weed out the contacts who visit your site by accident or bounce quickly without clicking around. We also recommend introducing these recipients to your brand through a welcome series and including your best performing offers to help with conversion.

How quickly does it start working?

The script starts working as soon as you add it to your page(s)!
