Careers at GetEmails – Senior Solutions Architect

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our expanding team. The Senior Solutions Architect will present and explain various technologies to customers, guides them through requirement gathering, and formulates a solution consisting of hardware, software, licensing, and engineering services. You are responsible for creating scopes of work and task lists for various types of projects in support of these solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the escalation point for pre- and post-sales support, investigating issues that our support team can’t solve
  • Interface with our customers’ engineering teams, gather information from our engineers, and collaborate with our sales and customer teams
  • Be a central figure; you will tie the revenue and the product teams together
  • Focus on excellence and take the initiative to improve both yourself and the team through continuous learning and questioning the status quo
  • Serve as the escalation point for our pre and post sales support
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product to help tie more difficult technical aspects of the product back to our customers’ needs
  • Investigate hard to solve customer data issues by directly querying our production data, reading our code base, etc…
  • Help with ad-hoc data analysis and explain test results to customers
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the GetEmails products and solutions
  • Advise customer engineering teams with technical authority relating to ingestion, query structure, etc…
  • Deepen both your sales and technical skills through self-driven education while taking advantage of all the professional development opportunities provided by GetEmails


  • Expertise with Python and Elasticsearch, and deep experience working with Big Data
  • Ability to read code and digest logic for less technical members of the team and customers
  • Demonstrable ability to articulate and sell the benefits of data
  • Passion for being curious and a continuous learner
  • History of successful customer relations where you developed an understanding of what made a difference, and devised architectures that helped meet a goal, tackle a problem, or outpace competitors
  • Value-add experience:
    • With additional data stores like Redshift, Azure, Mongo, etc…
    • Advising customers on architecting a tech stack for Big Data
    • Calling and interacting with Rest APIs
    • Understanding of how the back end of an API works
    • Data products
    • Spark
